What A Lender Thinks of You

When applying for a loan, most people worry about what the lender will think about them. Is there a crusty old man in the bank somewhere looking over his glasses at the application and shaking his head? Ummm…no. These days, most underwriting is done by a computer software program. It evaluates you in a number of ways, but only to say yeah or nay. Those lenders still using humans to evaluate the applications usually overwork them. This means the underwriter doesn’t take time to ponder the merits of each applicant. They are just firing through them as fast as possible. In short, don’t sweat it.
