Valuing Your Property

There is a different way of viewing just about anything and property values are no different. The single best approach is to look at comparables in the neighborhood. Is it the most accurate method? Probably not, but it is what potential buyers will be using when the view your home and determine its value in relation to others in the neighborhood. It is best to avoid using other less accepted valuation methods such as the cost of rebuilding or income approach. Don't try to reinvent the wheel.
