You’ve received an offer on your home and generally like it, but definitely dislike some of the aspects of the offer. What do you do? You issue a counter offer. That being said, what terms do you counter on? Well, there are four things you typically can counter on. The first is price. The other three are terms, occupancy and contingencies. You basically are offering the buyer different terms than those in their original offer on any or all of these subjects.
