How many different types of mortgage loans do you think there are on the market? 10? 50? 100? Far more. Even with the clamp down on some of the more interesting loans out there, the truth of the matter is there are well over a thousand different loan programs. Is there some place where you can see them all? No, not really. The best shot is to talk with a mortgage broker who works with a wide variety of lenders and has seen what is available in many odd situations. The bigger point to remember, however, is that you have options. Don't assume you have two or three choices. Shop around and find what works for you.
