Mortgage Market Killing Stock Market

This past week has been a brutal one for the stock market. The reason? The mortgage lenders are going down in flames. All those investors that made a killing through the beginning of the decade are now running for the hills. So, what does this all mean for the home loan industry? Not much. Panic will end in a few months and loans will still be written. The housing market is what sustains the middle class in this country. Nobody is going to let it fall apart, to wit, the government.
