Mortgage Email Advertisements
We all get junk mail and many of us read it. If we didn’t, there wouldn’t be any SPAM! That being said, you should be very wary of email advertisements offering outrageous financial terms. Most of these emails are not from mortgage companies or anyone even trying to sell a mortgage. Instead, they are from people trying to get your personal financial information for identity theft purposes. They usually ask you to fill out a mortgage application form that looks “official”. In truth, it is just a form they use to collect your information including your social security number, birth date, address, legal name, bank account numbers and so on. If you want to find a legitimate online mortgage source, use our site or do a search through Google, Yahoo and so on.
