Instructions for Linking to your property's VIDEO on YouTube...
First you will need to have a video on your computer. If you need to do this yourself, it can be done with almost any modern digital camera set on "movie" or "video" which ever the manufacturer calls it. A Canon PowerShot SD 300 Digital Elf works fine. A VADO VF0570 pocket cam that costs about $80 does too. After you have the video, and if you don't have an account with YouTube, you need to create one.
Open another browser window on your computer and go to http://www.youtube.com. Of course if you already have an account, just login, if not, click on the link in the upper right corner called "Create Account." Follow the instructions. It is very user friendly and free.
After you have created the account, click the link called "Upload." Now, after you have the video up on YouTube, copy the link for it's url given in the field in the upper right corner named "url." Now paste this into our sign-up form called "Link to YouTube." Now comes the tricky part. You need to remove "Watch?" and put "/" before and after the "v." Take out the "=" after the "v." Save all the changes you made to the page. Let us know if you have a problem and we need to help. helpdesk@fsboamerica.org.
Oh, just one more thing, be sure you have the free Adobe Flash Player on your computer.
