Lenders Good Faith Estimate
Know your rights! After applying for a loan, lenders have three days to give you a good faith estimate on all the costs associated with the loan. The written statement, however, doesn’t mean squat. Ask the lender to guarantee it. If the lender refuses, then you should consider moving on. The lender might peg you with additional costs once things are rolling and there will be nothing you can do about it. Nada. Zippo!
