Identifying Property Boundaries
When you are buying a home, there are a bundle of things you have to keep in mind. One of the more obvious, but often overlooked, is identifying the property boundaries. It is important to understand the property boundaries are not what you see or what the seller says. Instead, it is the legal plot of the lot. Most homeowners don’t know their property boundaries, so they build over them or assume they own some areas that they legally do not. Make sure to identify your legal boundaries so you don’t buy a property that you believe includes a particular area or aspect that it really does not.
