Is the real estate market trending up or down? Is it a sellers’ market or buyers’ market? You will find answers in the national media outlets. How valuable is the information? Not very! A national trend in anything does not mean much if your area is not following it. Currently, the real estate market is in a slump as a whole. That doesn’t mean every area. Jacksonville, for instance, is cranking along with a very active real estate market that is favoring sellers. San Diego? Not so much. The point to keep in mind is it is YOUR local market that matters, not the national one.
