Ditch Funky Color Schemes When Selling
Let’s face it, we all have our own particular taste. That is what makes us individuals. When we are living in our house, we can get the hankering to paint a room…dark red or bright orange or whatever. As long as it is just us living there, who really cares? This entire situation, however, changes when it comes time to sell the home. Your house becomes a “property.” Since potential buyers may not “get” the dark red or bright orange color, you need to repaint the rooms that have it. Something neutral should be used. It doesn’t have to be “renter’s white,” but try for something that doesn’t scream individuality. That way you want lose a potential buyer because the colors in your guest bedroom give them a headache!
