Credit Score Bias

When you apply for a mortgage, you will see notices about fair lending and so on. In truth, there is a credit score bias. Specifically, we are talking about age bias. A percentage of your credit score is based on how long you have had credit. In this case, the longer the better. Many people mistakenly believe having no credit cards is a good idea. It is not. Open credit accounts early for your kids. Just make sure you stay on top of them.
