Credit Problem Excuses Lenders Might Accept
The free flowing mortgage days have come to an end. In 2004, a lender would give money to just about anyone. These days, you better have your act together or rejection is the probably result. The obvious issue that most borrowers run into is a snafu on their credit. Is there anything you can do? Well, you can try credit repair, but there is a reason the IRS is kicking out warnings regarding these companies. A better approach is often to explain the problems if you have a good excuse. If you were in the hospital for three months, a lender is going to be pretty understanding when it comes to evaluating late credit card payments during that time period. The same goes for a death in the family or an issue with identity theft. Is there a list of good reasons available? Not really. Just use your common sense.
