Give Buyers Room At Showings
When you're selling your home yourself, you usually show it yourself. That can lead to an odd problem. If you're too "social," you have a nice visit getting to know the prospective buyer, but it's difficult for them to evaluate your home as a possible home for themselves if they're too busy visiting. On the other hand, if you're not friendly at all, they may be put off. Being aware of this can lead you to a good balance. If you sense that someone is very chatty, you can suggest that you sit down and talk about the home and what they're seeking in a home before touring it. That way, you can have a chat in one room while they have a little time to look around it. Then you can begin the tour. That way, the buyer should have a better chance of focusing on what they need to in order to decide.
