Beating Your Remorse

Whether you are selling or buying, you should expect to experience remorse in your real estate transactions. You’ll think that you could have negotiated a slightly better deal if only you had been firmer. Perhaps you would have done better if you had waited/got into the market sooner. In nearly every real estate transaction, there will be something that will make you remorseful. Stop! Don’t beat yourself up. I can almost guarantee you that the people on the opposite side of the real estate transaction also have remorse. Lawyers often say a just result is one where neither side is particularly satisfied. The same goes for real estate. You bought or sold your house. Gain some closure and move on.
